Tanner Bowden

Tanner Bowden is a writer, editor, and photographer with nearly a decade of experience creating work for internationally recognized media outlets. He frequently writes about the outdoors, travel, and the people behind it all, with a special expertise in outdoor gear, cycling, hiking, and running (in 2023 he completed the Tokyo Marathon in under three hours).

After three years as Field Mag Managing Editor Tanner is now Editor-at-Large. Find Tanner's bylines in GQ, Men's Journal, Gear Patrol, Outside, Eater, Trails, Huckberry, and in Parklife Hideaways, a new hardcover book by Gestalten.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Vermont.
